Internship In London collaborate exclusively with one of the best schools in London, established in 1975 and now one of the most successful international language training organizations. It is accredited by the British Council and a member of ‘English UK’. Over the past 30 years the school has earned a reputation as a provider of high quality training to students from more than 50 countries around the world, with many of the students on internship programmes.

15 lessons per week
This group course is for students who wish to improve their ability in English language. The classes cover all aspects of English: speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Content is regularly adapted to include the needs and interests of each individual student. A teaching framework is provided for each level based on modern course books and relevant supplementary materials.
The main emphasis of the course is on practical communication, to build vocabulary and help develop your fluency and confidence. Your tutor will teach you new language and skills and help you to practice them so that you can really use them in your day-to-day English and in your internship placement.
Course Features 15 lessons per week
- Task-based, communicative lessons to develop your receptive and productive skills:
Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing. - A thorough grammar syllabus for each new level, helping you to activate and use your English in real-life situations.
- A strong lexical (word based) focus to increase and develop your vocabulary and use of colloquial English.
20 lessons per week
20 lessons per week includes all of the above (in 15 lessons per week) + 5 extra classes of conversational lessons.
For the majority of students speaking English is a priority. Group conversation classes, therefore, are the perfect complement to English courses. They are focused on building your confidence and your ability to use English in many different situations.
Course Features 20 lessons per week are as 15 lessons per week plus:
- Dynamic and practical group course.
- Emphasis on developing speaking fluency and pronunciation.
- A focus on spoken English in realistic situations.
Course Details
- General English is available from Monday-Friday.
- Each lesson is 50 minutes in duration.
- The maximum group size is 18 .

School Location
The school is in South Kensington (2 min from tube/ metro station), a fashionable and cosmopolitan area of London in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, within a few minutes of the West End – Central London. South Kensington is the cultural heart of London with its many museums, colleges and royal societies. It is famous for its cafés, pubs, restaurants, shopping streets, and is only a short walk from Hyde Park. So you can easily combine your studies with the cultural and sporting events and the social and night life for which London is well known.
School Quality
Teaching is focused on students' needs, interests and aims. Lessons take place in an environment in which learners are being constantly challenged and motivated in order to develop confidence in their own ability. The school only employs teachers with special qualifications in English language teaching. Students are carefully tested in all four language skills, then graded and assigned to a class suited to their level of English.
The school is a well-equipped language college with modern facilities. The classrooms are bright and our teachers use TVs, videos, DVDs, CD players, cassette recorders and overhead projectors. There is a computer room with free Internet access and a comfortable students' room for you to relax in. Our library has a large selection of books and you can also borrow cassettes and videos. We also have a Wi-Fi connection to give students free unlimited access to the Internet on their personal laptops.
Teachers are friendly, helpful and professional. Using a variety of modern resources and teaching techniques, they will rapidly improve your ability to use English in social or business situations. Lessons are planned around core elements of grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, with a special emphasis on speaking, listening, reading and writing.
Settling in
When you first arrive at the school, the school registrar will meet you and present you with a welcome pack. After a short test Director of Studies, will interview you to decide on your level of English so we can recommend the most suitable class for you. On your first day you will need to bring your passport, e mail confirmation from Internship In London and photo of you for your for student card.
School Facilities
Internet Room
Each student has 30 minutes free internet access per day. The computers are also used occasionally by classes during lesson times to help improve the students' English.
The school also has a Wi-Fi connection which allows students free unlimited access to the Internet via their own personal laptops.
Library
Students are welcome to borrow additional materials for study outside the classroom. A refundable deposit of £5 per item is required.
Students' Room
A comfortably furnished room with sofas for relaxing and socialising and tables for studying or eating at. A drinks machine provides well-priced drinks foryou to enjoy at break times. There is also a microwave and water fountain for the students' use.
Classrooms
Classrooms are bright and airy and our teachers use TVs, videos, DVDs, CD players, cassette recordersand overhead projectors to help students improve their English as quickly as possible.
